MrMugs grew in the hours found between everything else. The idea was to make useful gifts feel personal, but the reason for building it ran deeper—to create independence, choice and a future with more time for the people who matter.
A printer, two presses and a small garage in Scotland became a place to experiment. Evenings were spent testing colours, refining designs and learning how to turn a simple blank mug into something worth giving.
The first sales were more than transactions. They were proof that people wanted gifts that felt personal—something made for one person, not pulled from an endless shelf of ordinary things.
Every stage still matters: the idea, the print, the final check and the parcel leaving the workshop. Growth has never meant losing the care that made the first orders feel special.
